What we do

Early Outreach

Early Outreach

Early Outreach

Early Outreach

As someone born with a limb difference, I understand deeply how the language and perspective of parents and caregivers shape how a child grows into their identity. I’ve seen what helps—and what can unintentionally hurt—which is why I believe so strongly in the power of early outreach.

At Grip, we offer in-person and virtual visits from myself or trained Grip Ambassadors to provide reassurance, perspective, and lived experience to families navigating those first days.

Sports Organizations

Grip Foundation welcomes partnerships with both traditional and adaptive sports organizations to uplift and empower youth with limb differences. Through collaboration, we can create meaningful, high-impact experiences that inspire inclusion, resilience, and community.

Ways We Can Partner:

  • Adaptive Sports Camps & Clinics
Collaborate with us to host inclusive or fully adaptive sports clinics, where kids with limb differences can build confidence, connect with others, and learn from experienced coaches and mentors—some of whom are adaptive athletes themselves.

  • Motivational Talks & Team Engagement
Invite Grace Hong, D1 athlete and founder of Grip, to speak with your team or organization about overcoming adversity, embracing difference, and leading with resilience—perfect for athletes, coaches, and community events.

  • Fundraising Collaborations
Co-host fundraising events or campaigns that directly support prosthetics, mentorship programs, and family outreach for kids with limb differences. Whether it’s a charity match, beach day, or online campaign, your impact helps kids grow into their power.

By partnering with Grip, your organization becomes a part of something bigger—creating space for every athlete, every family, and every future leader to be seen, celebrated, and supported.

Community Partnerships

Grip Foundation is proud to collaborate with community organizations—such as youth groups, parent networks, schools, after-school programs, churches, and health support groups—to empower kids with limb differences and support the families who love them.

How We Can Partner:

  • Talks & Assemblies
Bring in Grace Hong—D1 athlete, motivational speaker, and founder of Grip—to speak to youth, families, or parent groups about confidence, identity, inclusion, and the power of embracing what makes us different.

  • Confidence Camps & Workshops
Co-host hands-on experiences where kids build resilience, connect with mentors, and explore creativity through games, reflection, and skill-building activities. These events are perfect for schools, summer programs, and faith-based organizations.

  • Family Support & Outreach
Partner with us to provide resources, newsletters, and care kits to families raising children with limb differences. We can tailor support to meet the needs of your community.

  • Inclusive Programming Consultation
We can work with your organization to improve accessibility and inclusion in your existing youth programming by providing guidance, tools, and training.

Whether you're a school, a scout troop, a parent group, or a youth nonprofit, partnering with Grip Foundation means joining a mission to help every child grow with confidence, resilience, identity, and power.
